A 22-year-old man died after a crash Wednesday morning in south suburban Harvey.

Dontrell Murray was in a vehicle that hit a “fixed object” shortly before 9 a.m. in at the intersection of 147th and Wallace streets, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Murray was taken to Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey, where he was pronounced dead at 8:33 p.m., authorities said. He lived in the 15000 block of South Ashland Avenue in Harvey.

An autopsy Saturday ruled the death an accident. A Harvey police spokesman could not immediately be reached for more details.
