A man and a teenage boy were wounded in a shooting Monday night in the West Side Lawndale neighborhood.

The 18-year-old man and 15-year-old boy were standing on the sidewalk at 9:23 p.m. in the 1200 block of South Lawndale when someone walked up and fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot in the back, while the boy was shot in the back and abdomen, police said. They were both taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where their conditions were stabilized.
