Man shot in Logan Square

A man was shot early Sunday in the Northwest Side Logan Square neighborhood.

At 2:11 a.m., the 24-year-old was walking on the sidewalk in the 1600 block of North Richmond when someone in a black SUV fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot on the right side of the body and was taken to Stroger Hospital where his condition was stabilized, police said.

The two men were shot Saturday in the 7100 block of South Peoria Street, police said.
The man, who apparently took his own life inside the building in the 4100 block of West Chicago Avenue had been the subject of more than 40 calls for service since January 2022, a police department source told the Sun-Times.
