A man was shot to death early Saturday in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

Officers responding to reports of shots fired at 3:21 a.m. found 31-year-old Lorenzo Dixon lying in an alley in the 100 block of South California with gunshot wounds to the head, left arm and left leg, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Dixon, who lived on the same block, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 3:53 a.m., according to police and the medical examiner’s office.
