Had enough of George Bailey breaking the banister and Scrooge buying that huge turkey? In addition to “Bad Santa 2” and “Office Christmas Party,” this season brings several other new movies filling the big and small screens with Christmas cheer:

“Almost Christmas,” a family homecoming dramedy that our critic Richard Roeper calls “a waste of a wonderful cast.” Already in theaters.

“My Christmas Dream,” starring Danica McKellar of “The Wonder Years” as an ambitious department store manager. This is one of 26 new holiday movies this season on Hallmark and sister channel Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Nov. 19.

“The Christmas Swap,” about a single dad (Dondré T. Whitfield) learning how life would have unfolded if he hadn’t cared for his ailing mother. It’s on TV One, which also premieres the movie “Merry Ex-Mas” next month. Nov. 26

“All I Want for Christmas,” about a Scroogey exec (Melissa Sagemiller) who acquires telepathic powers from Santa’s helper and uses them for good. It’s among the new holiday offerings from Lifetime. Nov. 28

“Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love,”NBC’s sequel to the 2015 hit about the country singer’s childhood. Stars Jennifer Nettles, Ricky Schroder and Gerald McRaney return. Nov. 30

Police found the man with a gunshot wound to the head in the 1400 block of West 49th Street, police said.
