A woman who was struck and killed by a vehicle on the Tri-State Tollway near Robbins a week and a half ago has been identified as Laura Marie Kimberly, 49, of Versailles, Kentucky.

Kimberly was hit in the southbound lanes of the Tri-State near 135th Street and pronounced dead at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 22 at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office, which ruled her death was an accident.

Illinois State Police could not immediately provide details about the crash.
