A woman gave birth to a baby girl early Monday on the platform at a CTA Blue Line station in the Loop.

Paramedics responded about 2 a.m. when the 26-year-old woman delivered the girl at the LaSalle Station, 150 W. Congress Pkwy., according to Fire Media Affairs Chief Juan Hernandez.

Both the mother and baby girl were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition, Hernandez said.
