Police are looking for the owner of a large, colorful exotic bird that was found Monday afternoon in southwest suburban Palos Park.

The flamboyant fowl was spotted “acting suspicious” in the 7900 block of Palos Avenue, according to Palos Park Police Chief Joe Miller.

“Day shifts officers placed the bird into custody without incident,” Miller said. It was taken to a shelter for evaluation.
