A man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg walked into a Gold Coast hospital early Thursday.

About 4:30 a.m., the 39-year-old walked into the Northwestern Memorial Hospital emergency room, 250 E. Erie St., according to Chicago Police. He had suffered a gunshot wound to the left leg and was listed in good condition.

The man refused to cooperate with investigators and would not provide details on where or how he was shot.
