A teenager shot himself in the left leg early Sunday in the West Garfield Park neighborhood.

The 15-year-old boy shot himself about 12:45 a.m. in the 4500 block of West Congress Parkway, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said. Additional information was not immediately available.
