A woman was shot Sunday night in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side.

The 44-year-old was standing on a front porch at 11:06 p.m. in the 800 block of West 51st Place when gunfire erupted and she realized she’d been shot in the right leg, according to Chicago Police.
