One man was killed and another was seriously wounded in a shooting last week in the Archer Heights neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The men were standing in the street at 2:14 a.m. Wednesday in the 4100 block of West 47th Street when a male fired shots at them from a gangway, according to Chicago Police.

Moises Antonio Gonzalez, 25, was shot in the chest and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at at 2:53 a.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. He lived in the 3800 block of West 69th Street.

A 22-year-old man was also shot in the chest and taken to Mount Sinai in serious condition, police said.
