Man shot in Austin

A man was shot early Wednesday in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The 21-year-old was shot in the side and suffered a graze wound to the back about 1:30 a.m. in the 5100 block of West Madison, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken in good condition to Stroger Hospital, where he was treated and released, police said. The man, who is gang affiliated, was not cooperative with investigators and would not provide additional details about the incident.
