A man who was shot to death Thursday evening in the South Side Back of the Yards neighborhood has been identified as Francisco Guzman.

The 19-year-old was shot in the head at 6:20 p.m. in the 4800 block of South Laflin, Chicago Police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified the victim as Guzman, who lived in the 7100 block of South Maplewood.

An autopsy will be conducted Friday.
