A man was wounded in a shooting Friday afternoon on an Eisenhower Expressway off-ramp on the West Side.Troopers responded to reports of a shooting about 12:30 p.m. on the outbound I-290 ramp to Western Avenue, according to a statement by Illinois State Police.

A man, whose age wasn’t available, was driving when he heard about six gunshots and was struck in the back by a bullet that went through the car door. The man told troopers the shooter may have been driving a black car.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to ISP.
