A man was shot in an East Garfield Park neighborhood drive-by attack Friday night on the West Side.

About 9:20 p.m., the 41-year-old was walking in the 3300 block of West Lake when someone opened fire from a dark-colored car, hitting him in the right ankle, according to Chicago Police.

He later showed up at West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
