A woman was shot Sunday evening outside the 18th Pink Line station in the Heart of Chicago on the Lower West Side.

The 32-year-old was standing next to a vehicle at 7:27 p.m. in the 1700 block of West 18th when someone in a dark-colored four-door car shot her in the leg, according to Chicago Police.

She was taken to University of Illinois Hospital in fair condition, police said.
