Woman shot in Gresham

A woman was shot Sunday evening in the South Side Gresham neighborhood.

The 32-year-old was shot in the upper left thigh at 7:55 p.m. in the 8800 block of South Wood, according to Chicago Police.

She was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where her condition was stabilized, police said.

The shooting occurred in the 4100 block of South Wells Street. Three police officers and two civilians are in good condition. Two others are in critical condition.
