A man was stabbed and seriously wounded during a domestic incident Saturday afternoon in the South Side Wentworth Gardens neighborhood.

The 30-year-old was stabbed in the groin and left shoulder about 4:15 p.m. in the 200 block of West 38th Street, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken in serious condition to Stroger Hospital, police said.

A 39-year-old woman has been taken into custody and charges were pending Sunday morning, police said. Additional information on the domestic-related incident was not immediately available.
