Man shot in West Chatham

A man was shot in the right arm Monday evening in the West Chatham neighborhood on the South Side.

The 27-year-old was outside about 5:30 p.m. in the 8000 block of South Stewart when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been struck, according to Chicago Police.

He later showed up at St. Bernard Hospital in good condition, police said.
