Man shot in Grand Boulevard

A man was shot Saturday night in the South Side Grand Boulevard neighborhood.

The 26-year-old man was standing on a sidewalk in the 700 block of East 45th Street about 11:45 p.m. when someone in a gray vehicle fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the left thigh and took himself to University of Chicago Medical Center, where his condition stabilized, police said.
