A woman has been charged with stabbing her boyfriend in the groin during a fight Saturday afternoon in their home in the South Side Wentworth Gardens neighborhood.

Tiffany Moore, 39, faces felony counts of aggravated domestic battery and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, according to Chicago Police.

Moore admitted stabbing her 30-year-old boyfriend in the groin and left shoulder during a fight at their home about 4:15 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of West 38th Street, police said.

He was taken in serious condition to Stroger Hospital, police said.

Moore was jailed on a $200,000 bond at a Monday hearing, according to the Cook County sheriff’s office. Her next court date is Nov. 14.
