A 16-year-old girl who went missing last week from northwest suburban Des Plaines has returned home safely.

Guadalupe Sanchez went missing Nov. 1, according to a statement from the Cook County sheriff’s office.

She returned home Tuesday night, according to the sheriff’s office.
