A man and woman were founddead with gunshot wounds Tuesday morning inLowell, Indiana.

The Lake County coroner’s office identifiedhas identified them as James and Patricia Carlin, both 61.

They were found about 8 a.m. at their home in the 1600 block of Northview Court in Lowell, authorities said. The woman had multiple gunshot wounds, the man one.

Lowell Police Chief Erik Matson said therewas “no public safety concern” and declined to release moredetails.A ruling on their manner of death is pending further investigation.

The coroner’s office has asked for the public’s help in finding the Carlins’ family. Anyone with information should call (219) 755-3265.
