Police are searching for three teenagers who tried to lure a boy into an SUV Sunday evening in the Norwood Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The boy was walking alone in the 7100 block of West Carmen at 5:20 p.m. when the SUV pulled up and three teens inside called him over to the vehicle, according to a community alert from Area North detectives.

The boy ran away and the SUV pursued him, driving the wrong way down a one-way street, police said.

The suspects were described only as three black boys in their late teens, driving a black SUV similar to a Jeep Grand Cherokee, police said.
