SHARE Police warn of attempted burglaries in Bronzeville

Police are warning South Side residents of two attempted apartment burglaries on the same street last week in the Bronzeville neighborhood.

On Jan. 26, the suspects kicked in the front door of two separate apartments and rummaged through drawers and closets, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

Both attempted burglaries both happened in the 4800 block of South Calumet, one between 8:30 a.m. and 2:20 p.m., and the other between 8:52 a.m. and 1:35 p.m., police said.
