Teen shot in leg on NW Side

A 17-year-old boy was shot in a possible drive-by attack early Sunday in the Portage Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The shooting happened about 3:30 a.m. in the 4500 block of North Lockwood, according to Chicago Police.

The boy was shot in the left leg and taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
