A man was shot to death Thursday evening on his home block in Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

Reginald Bonner, 37, was in a vehicle in the 1100 block of North Springfield about 5:20 p.m. when another vehicle pulled up and someone inside opened fire, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Bonner, who lived in the same block, was shot in the arm and chest and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 5:55 p.m., authorities said.
