Here’s a retirement gift any snearkhead would envy.

At a party this weekend in advance of NBA All-Star weekend in Toronto, Michael Jordan presented Lakers legend Kobe Bryant with a full set of Air Jordans – 30 pairs in all.

According to Nike, the gift included purple and gold versions of the Air Jordan III and Air Jordan VIII, which were worn by Bryant during the 2002-03 season.

In addition, another set of Air Jordans (in Bryant’s size 14) was auctioned off this weekend on eBay for $240,100 with the proceeds benefitting charity, according to a release.

“The Jordan Brand is about more than basketball, it’s about leaving a legacy and honoring those who have left a legacy,” Jordan Brand president Larry Miller said in the release. “Tonight the brand was able to honor one of the game’s great players and the legacy he created.”

Bryant, 37, will play in his 18th and final All-Star game Sunday night.
