A man was shot Sunday night in the Ashburn neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

At 9 p.m., a 34-year-old man was getting into a vehicle in the 3400 block of West 84th Place when another vehicle drove by, and a back seat passenger got out and fired shots, police said.

The man suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in good condition, police said.
