A 15-year-old girl was shot in the Gage Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side Monday night.

She was walking in the 5100 block of South Homan shortly before 10 p.m. when she heard gunfire and realized she’d been shot in the right shoulder, according to Chicago Police.

The teen was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where her condition was stabilized, police said.
