Man shot in Riverdale

A man was shot late Monday in the Riverdale neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 30-year-old was shot in the right leg about 11 p.m. in the 13000 block of South Ellis, according to Chicago Police. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized.

Police said further details about the circumstances of the shooting were unavailable because the man was being uncooperative with investigators.
