Man shot in Sauganash

A man was shot early Wednesday in the Sauganash neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The 22-year-old was in a car with his friends in the 4200 block of West Peterson when they got into an argument and someone pulled out a weapon and opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot in the hand and arm and was taken to Presence Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

A police source said the shooting is thought to be gang-related.
