Man shot in North Lawndale

A man was shot Tuesday afternoon in the North Lawndale neighborhood.

The 24-year-old was walking in the 1500 block of South Spaulding Avenue around 4 p.m. when he heard shots and felt pain, Chicago Police said.

He was shot in the back and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in fair condition, police said.
