“Muskie Ed’’ Potocki proudly nominated his friend Ed Glista for catching the big black crappie Saturday at the charitable Walk on Water Ice Fishing Derby on Bangs Lake in Wauconda.

Glista, of Streamwood, caught his 13.25-inch winner on a minnow at 11:45 a.m. with 15 minutes remaining in the derby.
