Addison Russell dances as well as he plays shortstop

SHARE Addison Russell dances as well as he plays shortstop

When people around baseball talk about Addison Russell, the discussion invariably turns to his incredible footwork. The cat-quick shortstop is always in the right position whether it’s charging a slow-roller or going into the hole for a one-hopper.

In 61 games at shortstop last season for the Cubs, Russell made four errors in 210 chances. It looks like Russell’s fancy footwork translates into other facets of his life. Michael Jackson had nothing on Russell.

Even better, it looks as though the hamstring that kept Russell out of the NLCS last year is doing just fine.
