A man who robbed a Chase Bank branch in the West Ridge neighborhood Thursday morning is also suspected of robbing at least two other Chase branches on the North Side.

The most recent robbery happened just after 9 a.m. Thursday at the Chase branch at 7015 N. Western Ave., according to the FBI.

The same man is suspected of robbing another Chase branch at 6740 N. Ridge Blvd. on Feb. 5, and another Chase branch at 1791 W. Howard on Jan. 25, according to the FBI.

He is described as a black man in his late 30s to early 40s, between 5-foot-11 and 6-foot, with a slender to medium build, according to the FBI.

In the most recent robbery, he was wearing black sunglasses, a tan fedora with a brown strap, a dark leather coat and blue jeans, according to the FBI.

He has threatened a weapon, but not shown one.

Anyone with information about the suspect or the robberies is asked to call the FBI at (312) 421-6700.

So far in 2016, there have been 26 bank robberies in the Chicago area, according to the FBI. In 2015, there were 144.
