Anyone who thinks Derrick Rose is done playing at a high level shouldn’t bother trying to convince Stacey King. Following the Bulls loss to the Jazz Monday, the Bulls broadcaster defended the former MVP.

King spent some time after the game responding to fans on Twitter. When one Twitter user brought up the idea of Rose leaving the team when his contract ends, King offered words of warning.

Rose’s contract expires after next season and he is expected to hit free agency. Rose said before the season even started that he was already thinking about his next contract.

While critical of the team’s play overall, King did defend Rose a little. The former Bulls player said Rose still doesn’t get calls from referees. During the Bulls loss to the Jazz, Rose was given a technical for arguing after not getting a foul call.
