A 17-year-old boy was shot in the Irving Park neighborhood Tuesday afternoon on the Northwest Side.

The shooting happened about 4 p.m. in the 3600 block of West Irving Park Road, according to Chicago Police.

He showed up at Community First Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the shoulder. He was listed in serious “but stable” condition, police said.
