A man was shot in the head early Wednesday in the South Shore neighborhood.
The 20-year-old was looking for a parking spot about 2:45 a.m. in the 6700 block of South Merrill when someone exited a vehicle nearby and opened fire,
The man was shot in the head and showed up atJackson Park Hospital and Medical Center, police said. He was transferred in serious condition to Stroger Hospital.
