Police are warning residents about a series of armed robberies reported in the last week in Humboldt Park.

In each reported incident, multiple suspects approached the victims, threatened them with a handgun and then took their belongings, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

The robberies occurred:

  • at 6:55 p.m. Feb. 11 in the 1700 block of North Kostner Avenue;
  • at 7:03 p.m. Feb. 11 in the 4200 block of West North Avenue; and
  • at 4:30 p.m. Feb. 14 in the 1600 block of North Kedvale Avenue.

In the Feb. 11 incidents, two suspects are described as 19- t0 21-year-old black men standing 5-foot-8 to 6-foot-2. One of them has a tattoo on his face and the other wore a ski mask, police said.

There were four suspects in the Feb. 14 incident, police said. One is a Hispanic male between 15 to 20 years old standing 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-10 who was wearing a ski mask. The other three suspects were wearing ski masks.
