A 21-year-old man was shot in the left leg Saturday evening in West Englewood, according to the police, who said he was walking in the 5700 block of South Seeley just after 8:30 p.m. when a vehicle pulled alongside and someone in it shot him in the calf.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in good condition, police said.
