Some of Kobe Bryant’s best years came with Pau Gasol by his side, so it was fitting that Gasol introduced Bryant prior to the Lakers star’s final game at the United Center.

Gasol and Bryant played seven seasons together in Los Angeles, winning a pair of NBA championships in 2009 and 2010. The two remain close friends.

Bryant’s 15 games at the United Center are the least he’s played in any opposing city, but he’s produced no shortage of highlights in Chicago.

His 33-point game against Michael Jordan and the Bulls in 1997 was one that sparked many of the Jordan/Kobe comparisons still heard today.
