A man was killed in a drive-by shooting Monday morning in the South Side Englewood neighborhood, according to police.

The 28-year-old was in the 6400 block of South Eggleston at 9:46 a.m. when shots were fired from a passing vehicle, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to St. Bernard Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
