Eight people were injured in a single-vehicle crash Monday morning near the Chicago Skyway feeder ramp on the South Side.

The vehicle crashed into a pole about 5:10 a.m. near the Skyway feeder ramp from Stony Island Avenue, according to Chicago Police and fire officials.

Two people listed in good condition and a third person who was in fair-to-serious condition were taken to Comer Children’s Hospital, said Fire Media Affairs Chief Juan Hernandez.

Two others were taken to South Shore Hospital in good condition, Hernandez said. Three more people were all taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, two of which were in good condition and a third was listed in fair-to-serious condition.

Additional details on the crash were not immediately available.
