Two Chicago Police officers were injured in a crash Monday night in the South Side Englewood neighborhood.

The unmarked squad car was involved in a “minor” crash about 10:45 p.m. in the 5500 block of South Union, according to preliminary information from Chicago Police.

The vehicle that collided with the squad car sped away after the crash, police said.

The two officers were both taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
