A man was critically injured in a shooting Tuesday morning in the South Side Auburn Gresham neighborhood.

The 20-year-old man was discovered in an alley in the 8800 block of South Wood with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso about 9:20 a.m., according to Chicago Police.

He was taken in critical condition to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

Police said the victim is a documented gang member.
