Man shot in Auburn Gresham

A 25-year-old man was wounded in an Auburn Gresham neighborhood drive-by shooting Wednesday afternoon on the South Side.

He was walking in the 8300 block of South Carpenter about 3:40 p.m. when someone opened fire from a black vehicle, hitting the man in the arm and leg, according to Chicago Police.

He ran to the 8300 block of South Ada to call for help and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
