A man robbed a Chase Bank branch at gunpoint Tuesday afternoon in northwest Indiana.

The suspect robbed the branch at 1801 Kennedy Ave. in Schererville, Indiana, at 1:16 p.m., according to the FBI.

He showed a handgun during the robbery, but no one was injured, the FBI said.

The robber is described as a white man, between 35 and 40 years 0ld, standing between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-8, with brown hair and a large build, the FBI said. He was wearing a blue hat with a “C” on the front, a light blue t-shirt, a dark zip-up sweater, glasses and jeans.
