A federal judge in California has scheduled an October trial for a lawsuit accusing Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose of rape.

The claims were brought by a woman referred to in court documents as “Jane Doe,” who alleges that Rose and two of his friends sexually assaulted her in Los Angeles in August 2013. She is looking for $6 million in compensatory damages and $15.5 million in punitive damages, records show.

Rose has maintained his innocence, admitting he was in a relationship with the woman, but the sex was consensual.

U.S. District Judge Michael W. Fitzgerald on Tuesday scheduled a trial for Oct. 4. The parties are also required to meet with a private mediator by Aug. 1, records show.
